Food is great. The service is fast. Place is clean and cozy (except for the mosquitoes). Must tries: Chilli Miso Ramen, Gyosa and Karaage (octopus). Japanese brand beer are available, just ask the servers.

Making our own takoyaki was fun even though we had no idea how to do it right the first time. Our 2nd try was so much better and we're definitely coming back soon!

They serve fast. Love their Tempura Udon! Also best to try their sashimi and sushi.
Chef Masa Arafuka has put up an izakaya that is probably the closest thing to an authentic Japanese izakaya experience at KENSHIN JAPANESE RESTAURANT. Japanese favorites and staples like sushi, donburi, ramen, katsu and tempura are all here at a reasonable price. The place to visit for a great Japanese meal! #LVPMoment️
Ate at Lunch today, ordered a ramen gyoza set worth php 350 (incl service charge). I was expectin a quality broth and the fried rice in a bowl. But no, the broth was watered down seasoning, the fried rice in tiny plate that you could even eat properly without spilling, and the gyoza 60% meat 40% air. Not worth it.
We ordered ramen in miso with combos its mostly cabbage in big chunks and soup base doesn't taste good. Mine was with california maki, its just so-so and it crumbles... my hubby's combo was curry rice and its also just so-so... we also ordered crunchy kani salad, it was a big cabbage salad with 1 pc kani shredded on top. The sesame seed dressing was a bit watery. I hope the other food items are better than what we ordered.
You should try the ginger pork or pork with kimchi, it's really good!
