This Yoshinoya Japanese franchise restaurant ... is located on the 2nd floor of Glorietta 1 ... within the Ayala Centre Makati With my orders this time Even thou the Pork Katsudon didn’t look to appetising ... this rice meal , topped with a small lightly crumbed pork fillet ... was still delicious I did order the Go Solo set meal ... instead I received Kani salad ( a misunderstanding of my slang English - plus wearing a mask ) ... nevertheless I did enjoy this healthier side order salad - specially the Japanese Mayo freshly zig zag on top Another side order was the also delicious 3 Gyoza I enjoy the taste of the cold Red Fruit Tea In the long run - I enjoyed this meal ... & at a reasonable price This was my 3rd time eating at a Yoshinoya restaurant... the other 2 time in Cebu City

Affordable Japanese meal? Yoshinoya got it covered. This is my go to place in Glorietta whenever I crave for tempura, California maki and miso soup but don't want to spend that much (and pay day is still too far away, haha). Their service is fast and the staff are helpful. Highly recommended for budgetarians!

One of the best place to eat if you are finding affordable Japanese dishes. Great for family eat out or with friends. Tempura, beef and many more are served hot and fresh. Highly recommended!

Yoshinoya - Japanese fastfood of the 2000s. Still around and they still compete in the cutthroat Japanese cuisine segment where new players come in regularly. Quite dated menu and may need to innovate as the lunch crowd have now thinned considerably. Some minor improvements in store.designs is ok but not a lot.

Super cramped and chaotic. Food is okay and affordable.

Yoshinoya's food here is good and affordable. They were able to serve my order quickly. The cashier I landed to though was not friendly. She was not smiling when taking my order and was impatient when I asked a question. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars to this place because of the affordability and fast service.

I visited here in February 2020. This article only focuses comparisons to Japan. Definitely, I am a member of Yoshinoya fans. However, I could not help pointing out problems. Regarding rice, it is bad. it contains long grain and broken grain. also half of rice are dry and the other are too wet. I found some sticky masses of rice. Moreover it smells like rice bran. In regard to taste, it needs more rich broth , salt and slight sweet. In terms of price, it is about 20% cheaper than the Japan’s. As for beef, it’s amount is a little bigger than the Japan’s. In addition to that, the restaurant doesn’t offer any seasoning options. For instance, hot chili and pickled ginger are important.
