An authentic Japanese Korean restaurant, served fusion of both Japanese and Korean gastronomic influences . The place is well lit ,super spacious, nicely adorned.I like the feel of the restaurant not too tight nor too casual very conducive for family eat out, romantic dates ,office meets or even a \ barkada\ get together.Parking space is not a problem though. Recommended dishes were: *Samgyup sushi aburi- three layered pork torched then wrapped on top of Japanese rice with nori topped with ebiko.A unique take on the sushi by using alternative protein instead of seafood. As a pork lover I really like this beautiful charred flavor made it more appealing.Only at Kisoya you can find this type of sushi. *Kimchi Nabe Udon - served in streaming pot,the aroma, the flavors ,an embodiment of a real Korean dish combined with their Japanese udon which is made by fresh everyday by Kisoya. *Kimchi fried rice- not your everyday Kimchi fried rice, they took it onto another notch by infusing mozzarella cheese and their signature sauce.A modern take on a familiar and traditional Korean rice dish.A popular dish for both the young people and the young at heart.Served on the side with Nori strips and shredded cabbage . *Injeolmi Bingsu flavored ice shavings with rice cake, bean powder and slivers of almond nuts.I really loved their version of this cold dessert not sweet more on the earthy unique taste.Textures of incongruous components blend well together . Authentic taste ! Serving to price ratio is very reasonable hefty serving sizes which can accommodate two people especially if you're not a voracious diner.

Food - This is a Korean-Japanese restaurant which for me is a best combination of my 2 fav cuisines. I ordered Kimchi Nabe Udon Set. Though I was expecting of the noodles served with Naruto as per their display which I didn't see. Though the serving is good for what you paid for. Their tonkantsu is a bit burnt but still good for me. The kimchi tastes good. However the salad is a not good, the dressing is really really few and since the the cabbage is watery, which made the salad looks like with milk as their dressing. Staff/service - The staffs are really friendly and they are a lot. I liked how they have their own specialty and own tasks to do unlike the other restaurants that the staffs are all around. The managers are focused on delivering quality service. Place - When you'll see, the front of the restaurant looks really good because they have the sample of their menu which looks really good and appetizing. Recommend - will definitely go back and bring some friends

A Japanese Korean restaurant doing good business in the area. For starters, the Kim chi is quite good. its spicy and not too fermented. The spicy tuna salad has the right crunch. Presentation and taste wise, the Beef Tantanmen Ramen is just ok. The Samgyupsal Kimchi Nabe Udon has a healthy serving of beef. The broth could use a dash of a little spicy oil to add flavor to it. Kisoya has a lot of Asian foreign tourist frequenting the place so that adds to its street cred. The open kitchen does add a lot of smoke to the place during peak hours. You end up smelling it on your clothes when you get out so maybe they need to work on their exhaust because some people might not be able to cope with it inside such a confined space. Staff is quite friendly and efficient.

Was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. It's Japanese-Korean so you can have both cuisines in one restaurant. I usually order cold soba in Japanese restaurants and this resto put a nice twist to it. I like that they also place kimchi in every dish just to keep the balance. Also the servings are big, worth it for its price point. Will go back to try out their other dishes.

I like the ambience as it's not cramped. Plus, they serve both Japanese and Korean so you have a variety of options to choose from. The ebi don set I had was nothing spectacular. I had to order a side dish of mixed tempura so I could finish the rice. The soup was a tad salty for me.

Been here several times during lunch. Food was good and price was reasonable. My favorite was probably the seafood ramen. Service was also great. So happy to have good Japanese place near my office.
