Dear Travallure

Spoliarium by Juan Luna is the most important work in the gallery and is a lot larger than we thought! We really enjoyed the themed collections and multiple floors and could have spent a lot longer here! This was our favourite of the three National Museums in the area, with the Museum of Natural History coming in as a close second. The free entrance doesn't hurt either!

Free of charge. Good for students, tourists, and people interested in the history of the arts. I like the section full of old pictures from 1800 the most. They brought me back to the past. The clothes are outstanding from the picture. The building looks so beautiful, and it matches with the exhibition. The objects have well organized. It reminds me of the museum in Europe.

Great place to visit. Rich in history and arts. Perhaps you need half day to appreciate everything. Glad to spend an hour exploring National Museum of Fine Arts with my dad. But we only finished 1 out of 4 floors. Will definitely go back for the other three soon. Best thing its for free! Kudos to the management for keeping up the spacious museum clean and organized.

Visited the museum last year before the COVID virus. Spectacular day and I do mean day. The building we were in was six floors with wings divided into sections. We started at the top and worked our way down floor by floor. Very enjoyable and educational museum. We took a break for lunch and spent the afternoon going through the museum. For us it definitely was a full day trip. There were groups of students going through the museum but it never felt crowded. Definitely a must see!

This was ok the only big wow factor for me was the Senate room with the mural that tells the story about the Filipino people. With that being said if I was Catholic or Filipino I might have more appreciation than what I got out of it. But over all if you like art you will probably like the museum. I'm more into history and there was some intertwined among the art but it is definitely an art museum.

A must see place in Manila. If you love arts and history please drop by this museum. We like this place as much as we enjoyed our childhood field trip. It brings back memories while learning new things. Now, they offer free admission. The National Museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission to the National Museum is now permanently free of charge for all visitors, Filipino or foreign, to its museums nationwide.

There are 3 separate buildings for the arts, the natural science and the newest 1 near children's playground which houses the botany (study of plants) and zoology ( study of animals) and the effects of every actions people do to the environment... it was just tiring because the elevator was not yet operational....hopefully, there will be guides in order for us to learn not just for photographs....there are activities that can be done but no one shows around visitors...there are only guards who tells you to dont touch the item or dont copy the pose of the bust and statues inside... you can't finish the tour in a day if you are really interested on adding new knowledge to your system.....
