A 109 years old building that housed criminal offenders is now a National Museum in Western Visayas. A repository of artistic creations and artifacts. The former Iloilo Rehabilitation Center was built in 1911 during the American colonial period on an 868-square-meter lot owned by the provincial government. Everyone MUST visit this museum. Known to be the old Iloilo Prison, it is now where a bog part of our history and culture is housed. Get to see the different galleries of truly Iloilo culture (2 galleries open as I post this review). Guided tours are available. Free admission. Promote and share our cultural heritage.
