What we liked most about Wok by 4900 is how the owner is hands on the food and beverage service. This bar and restaurant is conveniently located in Poblacion and is accessible to the Makati business district. The interior is artsy and detailed with witty quotations on the walls . Our favorite drink is the Beach Bum which is a cocktail mix with Nestlé House Blend. We also liked it’s stronger counterparts which are the Tea-quila (a combination of Nestlé House Blend Tea and Tequila) and Gin Bukome (a gin-based cocktail mixed with Nestlé Buko-Melon drink). This is best paired with their Bacon Chips that has minimal grease and has great crunch and taste (P250 for a regular size bowl).

Food is not that tasty like what you expect from a Thai cuisine.. quite expensive
Bathroom isn't great. Food wasn't amazing either. The ambience upstairs was nice and chill.
We arrived early on Friday evening and the staff didn't seem ready at all. We had booked with Eatigo but the server had no idea what that was and had to consult another colleague. They were nice enough but clearly lacked training. We sat down and asked about their Friday beer promo indicated on the menu but only the big beer was available and there was no promo for that. Again our server had to get help from someone else. We then tried to order a local beer and asked what they had that was cold but apparently the beers had just been placed in the fridge and we were offered ice in a glass instead. I can only imagine how the dinner experience would have gone - we left straight after the beer with ice suggestion. Guys, it's the start of a weekend in Poblacion and you aren't ready? Train your staff properly, stock up on cold beers, maybe have a manager present...and, judging from the other reviews, get a better cook. You won't be lasting long in the neighbourhood if you keep this up.
5-star for uber fast free wifi and lots of sockets. Perfect for late-night working dinners. The place is also great for rice lovers! I had Tapsilog with a generous serving of rice, perfectly fried egg, and tangy atchara. Tapa was served in two sticks which was weird but good nonetheless. Dumplings were a-okay.
Seoul bowl is a must-try!!
wifi not working by now
Just ok
