Urban Ashram offers the best yoga classes in the city bar none. They focus on a more anatomical approach, and with the exception of their Kundalini classes, remain largely without dogma in their teaching methodology. This is a plus if you want just the workout and enjoy yoga without the frills. No such thing as a perfect place, though. Being a great studio comes with the price tag. They're on the higher end of the expense ladder so expect to pay a premium for membership. You do get what you pay for as they have the best studio amenities. Great if you have the money but not a place to go to if you're on a tight budget.

Beware: the yoga classes are decent but the business is greedy. I bought a 24 class yoga package. It expires in 3 months. I went traveling to a few different countries, Christmas, new years, and I got married so I was only able to use 2 classes. I explained my situation and asked if they would extend my 22 remaining prepaid classes. Sam at Urban Ashram replies they will extend only HALF my prepaid classes... AND only if I buy ANOTHER 10 classes. Hahaha no.
