Great University museum! Has galleries on natural history (substantial mammal, bird and butterfly taxidermy collection for a small museum), northern Philippines history, ceramic and porcelain artifacts, and even a local collection of Roman Catholic church iconography.Very nice exhibits. The nature exhibit with the animals was very impressive. Also the cultural explanations were detailed.

Over the years as I've traveled, I realised there are people who're either into museums for the actual content and get info out of it - and there are the 'window shopper' types who might become marginally smarter, and might learn a factoid or two, but aren't fully into it. And I've also realised I fall into the latter. Even then, this Museum is a nice place to visit. You don't need to go too out of your way, it's free, and there's lots of nice exhibits from Philippine history here. Especially lovely are the animals / butterfly exhibits. There were some nice touches like an old camera on display - saying that this was the cam used to take original photos of the housing university.

This museum has so much to offer!!! I was pleasantly surprised to see several galleries in it which housed pieces organized by classification. Many are very rare artefacts carefully preserved. Definitely educational and will also give you a glimpse of history.

Historic campus, a little crowded though. I found the gym nice.

I found the student volunteer curator Daniel annoying. He kept on following me while touring around the galleries as if I'm doing something suspicious. He attempts to explain to me some of the galleries but had a hard time speaking either in Tagalog or English so I barely understood him at all. As for the galleries, they are all average, but better maintenance and lighting can be observed, especially at the biodiversity and anthropology galleries.
