We just had the pleasure of touring Ilocos and Baguio. It was a private tour. We were accompanied by William (aka Charot), who we thought went above and beyond his duties as our driver and tour guide. He was very flexible. We did not want to go to some of the places on the itinerary. He took us to alternate places. He even helped us find hidden gems like the yummy puto bumbong from Solibao at Burnham Park, dried fish on the side of the road, and tupig, which my wife just had to get, as it was one of her favorites growing up. Calle Crisologo is a sight to behold. Do not miss the Filipino-German BergBlick restaurant while in Pagudpud. The owners are very hands-on. We met them, and of course had to take a picture with them. Baguio is just a wonderful place to be. Mines View Park felt like I was in Nepal, even though I've never been there, heh. There were so many other highlights but I don't want to turn this review into my personal travel blog. So, I'm going to stop right here. Overall a wonderful experience. Thanks, Charot!!!
