Mactan Maribago is mainly frequented by a Korean population. The place is very polluted by traffic and exhaust gases. All bars, cafes, restaurants and mini-markets are owned by Korean owners. There is no public beach in Maribago only the private beaches of luxury hotels. This place is just interesting for scuba diving, as there is a pier to go to the diving boats. The prices are high and the restaurants are expensive because they are mostly frequented by wealthy Koreans. Besides, menus and prices are written in Korean or Chinese, sometimes in Japanese with English subtitles. If you prefer to taste Filipino food you will have to eat in the street, in small calenderias which serve what is called here the "street food". Avoid staying in this place, only interesting because of the Cebu-Mactan airport.

staff is kind. interior is modern. coffee was normal and a bit expensive. but see the front. it is in front of j park resort, the center of mactan . what do you expect?
