I like the the place, because they do so many things right: The restaurant isn't too cold, the aircon is just right. They have free WiFi and it's is good speed. The music isn't too loud and you can chat and hang out comfortably. The food is good too and reasonably priced. And the ambiance is well lit and nice. They have some good coffee variations. So, at the end, a great place in Forbes Town to eat and chat.

A morning stroll at BGC led me to stay Frank and Dean. It is on the quiet corner of Burgos Circle in Forbestown Road. It is a great place for caffeine fix and comfort food. The original Southern fried chicken is something to love about this brunch spot. You can pair chicken with Waffles, Mac n Cheese, Rice, and I got mine with 2 Old Fashion Doughnuts. Plate of chicken and doughnuts is priced at P250 matched with sip of long black coffee for P120. Frank and Dean tied up with Yardstick for coffee. There’s a secret door that will lead you to somewhere else. Hidden inside a telephone booth at the 2nd floor is a speakeasy bar. Music and drinks is what you’ll find at Ocean’s Telephone Company. The bar open from Thursdays to Saturdays from 7:00pm to 3:00am. Frank and Dean is open from 7:00am til 12midnight.
Great value for brunch in BGC. Food, smoothies and coffee all excellent. Service also top notch. We'll be back!
Inside the cafe is a speakeasy called Ocean's Telephone Co. Go up the flight of stairs on the 2nd floor, inside the telephone booth. An open secret for underground musicians to play the best quality local music. Keep an eye out for events tagged in this red-lit room, you just might find your next favorite band.
Just a regular coffee place. Quiet on weekdays. Packed on weekends.
The food was just okay. Not bad but not too special either. The ambiance was okay as well. Comfy and a good place to hang out. What I did not like about this place is the poor service and the really long waiting time. It took us a while just to get the attention of the staff. We ordered a light meal for a small group but it took us half an hour to wait. Hopefully, these things could be improved.
Love this coffee shop! It has a cozy rustic vibe to it and a very conducive environment for working. I usually grab a capuccino or a latte while working and the coffee is a must try. For snacks, i would recommend the bannana bread. Definitely one of my favorite spots!
So sad it's moving to a new location, it's quite cozy here. Their jambalaya is delicious!
