I would recommend renting a bigger boat. Current here are not that safe.

i love this place... very nice place and very clear water...
This is the port where you ride the boat or "bangka" going to Palaui island (Cape Engaño) and Anguib beach. The current here is almost similar with Batanes, the waves are very gigantic that you will need to hire a bigger boat because you won't be able to survive the big waver because it is horrible, trust me on this one. Rent a big boat and do not compromise your safety. Big boats usually cost Php3.5k that can accommodate at least 15 to 20 people. Bring extra money and bring lots of foods and lots of drinks if you are going to trek going up the lighthouse of Cape Eñgano because it is going to be really hot and tiring in midday. If you can, bring also your own snorkel set. There are applicable entrance fees that you will have to pay such as the registration in the port area worth Php20, Palaui Island entrance Php50/pax, Palaui island guide Php500/ group, etc for the add-ons.
Youll get to Palaui Island from here.
Its a nice place super duper as in hooo
