Still closed at this time (2021 Feb 07). Would've been perfect for a quick getaway from Manila. Climbing spots are still inaccessible. Cycling destinations, are open, as long as you're a local resident.

Update, San Rafael, Montalban, Rizal was on lockdown until March 10. Also, their Ecological Tourism Activity fee increased from P20 to P50. Fyi.
Visited here to expect a calming place for nature and indeed a beautiful scenery of mountains and Marikina river systems with great potential to be an eco- tourist spot which can provide unlimited revenue for communities nearby but so saddened by the destruction of mountains by the aggregate mining and rivers full of trash. Also notice a mountain with an open mined pit just above the houses very dangerous as no tree roots to hold the top soil and exposed bed rocks is fragile..an earthquake with 7 scale can potentially break that side of the mountain and can cause landslide. Just an opinion..so sad of what's happening in this area....
quite far when I go there by public transportation. beautiful place and very relaxing. At the end of the road, you can ride a boat and cross to the Karugo waterfall. great journey.
If you want to recharge and escape the City Life for awhile Try to visit Wawa dam. Friendly people and budget friendly place.
