Great picturesque hilly meadows at mid-hike. A good overnight camping site if you plan to do that.

This place is magical, advisable for beginners and first timers. If hiking it going as early as 5 is advisable because it will be too hot when you go down.

Perfect for beginners. You will have to start your hike early like 3-4am to get a chance seeing the sea of clouds. We were lucky to have a good tour guide who was not always in a hurry, he was very calm and patient. Registration is P100 per head and tour guide fee is P500 which can be divided amongst urselves. Brgy local council should look into their policy of no-smoking for hikers and tour guides alike as I witnessed some of them smoking while hiking

Mt Batolusong is good for beginners who wants to try mountain climbing (Difficulty 3/9; MASL 883). We started our hike around 330AM - starting point is Brgy San Andres barangay hall and we reached the third summit, Rangyas peak, at around 6AM. We wanted to chase the sunrise and sea of clouds but unfortunately the sun did not show up that day. But we were surrounded with clouds, not just sea of clouds. We waited until 730AM and fortunately the sun showed up and the sea of clouds was a delight! It is best to start your trek early because the sun can be too hot. Mapatag plateau is a grassland and there are no trees thus it can become too hot. Total expenses: Guide - 500p for 5 people Environmental, tourism, etc. fees - 100p per person

Mount Batolusong, Brgy. San Andres, Rizal as of August 26, 2018. One of the easy trail, perfect for beginners. There's 2 store on top where you can buy noodles etc. So far one of the nice trail, you'll not get out of way. From mapatag, duhatan ridge, batong mahiyain, grassy area to summit.
