This footbridge (overpass or elevated walkway) is part of several inter-connected footbridge surrounding the intersection of EDSA, North Avenue and West Avenue in Quezon City. This particular footbridge allows a pedestrian to use the stairways beside a Mercury Drug outlet at Paramount Building to cross West Avenue to reach Emerson Building on the other side. In reality, a pedestrian can climb any footbridge stairways located around the busy intersection to reach any point in the crossroads, without descending on the ground level sidewalks.
