After a tiring early morning field work, we headed to Hamia for comfort food. Dining out for Filipino dishes is a challenge if you are surrounded with great cooks back home. You would always end up comparing the recipes but Hamia went over the top. It caters great Kare Kare and serves the best Baked Tahong. I posted an aftermath of my plate as a proof. Our orders include Crispy Pata Kare-Kare, Inihaw Platter, Laing, Baked Tahong, Grilled Tuna, and Salmon Belly Sinigang. Customers can also cross-order in JT’s Inasal menu managed by the same owner. Preparation time took long and our orders was served in 30mins. The ambiance is nice except the outdoor seating area may tend to be hot during daytime.

The food here is so delicious! Filipino food at its finest. You can order here for your family. Enjoy a homey feel as you sit in a table just like your grandparents home. You can also celebrate your family's events here. But the place is good for 30 persons only.

Hamia is a good place to go to when you crave for kare-kare. I ordered the crispy pata kare-kare and the pata was cooked just right. The kare-kare sauce and vegetables were served separately from the pata. I would recommend though that they offer different kinds of bagoong to cater to customer's taste. Their leche flan was also good. The food prices are reasonable. The place has a nice filipino ambiance and I would recommend it as a family-friendly venue.

Good food and good service. Extra kudos for still providing quality customer service on a hectic day (valentines) when there are lots of customers that needed to be served. Design and motif are good as well. Makes the ambiance warm and cozy wether you're dining at the indoor or outdoor section. Limited parking area, but you can park on the street at night. They have a guard that will assist you while parking.

Definitely a chill place to enjoy Kare-Kare and other delicious local delicacies with a twist. The service is good and fast. The air-conditioned dining area can be a bit small for large families and groups. But they do have an al fresco area for dining and that's more spacious.
