Choose Puregold if you're on a tight budget with groceries. They sell all kinds that you usually see in sari-sari stores. Visit during weekdays as it's crowded most especially if a payday falls on a weekend. The lines are long and staff are comparatively slow since majority of the shoppers here buy stuff in bulk. Overall it's still a good place to shop for basic needs.
The prices here are reasonable
Great buys are here. Cheaper than most grocery stores definitely. They do have fresh and frozen sections for all types of meat and the best part is, they always have food in sales bundle. Its a go to place for sari sari stores and those who are looking for a one stop shop. A small section for necessary hardware stuff is allotted and clothing section can be found as well. The only downside is, long queue is inevitable so even those buying 5pcs down have to queue
You need to wear full face shield. Half faceshield is not allow. Still crowded. You can ask when will be the item delivered. Like jack n jill delivers every Sunday. Delivery sched may change depends on inevitable things. Many parking spaces too.
O Your one stop shop fir all your families daily needs. Highly recommend!
A good one today, not to include/mention the experience i had this noon. The senior lane had 2 customers before me. So i decided to find other cashiers where few were in line. I found Cashier 26. I ask the last customer if there was somebody to follow her and none she answered. So i got my 2 baskets n went back. It happened there was already someone standing. So i went my way to follow that last customer i've talked to. Now it was my turn to pay for my goodies. The customer behind me started to say things never understood anything why i went ahead of him. I did not retaliate coz it will start a fight. I do not know how to describe a man like this, who kept on talking malicious words. He did expose himself how ill mannered he was. I reported this to an authority/officer stating the scenario/issue at Cashier 26 around 3:30 pm to 4:00pm. I forgot the name of the one in -charge. Thank u ma'am, i forgot to ask for your name. I am a regular customer at Purgold Las Piñas.
I bought groceries then waited in line at the cashier, when it's my turn to pay they said credit/debit cards are not accepted due to offline. I just wasted an hour for nothing. They don't even have any work around for this or made any announcements in their PA system. Definitely not going back there ever.
