I am confident that the food here is authentic Vietnamese cause the chef is Vietnamese. Be prepared to wait for a bit cause the lady is a one (wo)man army. But I assure you that it is definitely worth the wait. Curry on vermicelli seems to be crazy at first but wait till you try.

We ended our 10-km hike in Los Baños at a small, nondescript eatery outside of UPLB campus serving authentic Vietnamese food. The place doesn't have aircon, and seating is a bit cramped but the food is fantastic! Beef with Onions and Sour Soup with Fish or Shrimps were my favorites. The soup was refreshing with the right balance -- tangy, herby, citrusy. We also had fresh spring rolls, sauteed chicken with lemongrass, fried rice with chicken ang cold tamarind juice. Phuong, the old Vietnamese lady who owns the place, cooks the dishes herself. Be prepared to wait. It's worth it! Cost per head was P335.00.
