If I could rate this less than 1 star I would. I'm paying 2600PHP a month for 5mbps. Now this wouldn't be that bad if they didn't throttle me harder than any other internet company I've ever been with. With 5mbps I should be able to watch at least 480p. Not the best, but good enough to be able to watch videos with reasonable quality. But because PLDT decides to throttle me whenever I go on streaming sites like Youtube, I have to watch in 144p or 240p. I'm paying so much for so little. Think internet in your country is bad? Try The Philippines, where your average ISP here will make ISPs in the US and Canada look like saints.

They are holding the Philippine telecommunications back by trying to be the backbone of out Internet despite not bring capable of it. It's just their way of monopolizing our Internet since it basically means they control our telecom towers.
