El Nido
N/A
This is definitely a must do activity nearby El Nido. The place is located atop the hill which requires a little bit of hiking but its totally worth it. The zip lining can be done both ways and they have different costs for the positions. Superman pose and sitting pose. We did the sitting pose but I would suggest the superman pose as one would enjoy that more. The view is totally amazing and it's a thriller ride. PS: If you get stuck before reaching the other end, do not worry, they come and rescue you easily. Check the video till the end to see how. I totally recommend this.

One of the must things to do/try when in El Nido. It’s tiring going up but it’s all worth it. The view is just amazing esp. during sunset.
Steep walk up the stairs until you reach the platform. The superman position was secure and not too fast so you get to enjoy the ride every moment. Spread your wings and fly!!!
It's a little expensive but is a nice experience, after using the zipline you can go to Cabañas Beach to spend the day. To get there from El Nido you nide to take a trycicle and tell the driver to go to "Cabañas Zipline", the fare is 150PHP, then is a 10 minits walk up to the hill
A highly recommended experience while in El Nido. It's taking "island hopping" to a new height/level. You can only reach it through a rickshaw and then take a somewhat challenging (depending on your fitness) staircase all the way to the top. Whether you decide to zipline "sitting" or "Superman" style, it's a worthwhile experience!
Feels surprisingly slow and safe. I don't believe there is a chance of droping anything out of hand, as there is no shake, as well.
What an amazing zipline, 1.4km connecting two islands. You can do it superman or sitting. If you do it superman wear something to protect your shoulders as you can stop abruptly and get a rope burn
Beware of the seated position on your round trip back: what they don’t do a very good job telling you is if you are going backward down the zipline and are in the wrong position YOU WILL GET HURT. I had severe whiplash hitting the back of my head on the stopper going down full speed. It almost knocked me unconscious. On the other end, my friends said they were yelling frantically to duck and so were the operators. Going backward, I could see nothing or hear nothing - all you hear is loud zipping noise of the wheeled apparatus. There is no way a ride like this would be legal in the US. Even though the operators were nice and very apologetic, it didn’t help my neck and back pain. The crazy thing is I wasn’t the only person in our group of 6 that got hurt. My friend, who weighs about 250, came down very quickly in the backward position and hit the back of his leg on the portable wood platform that you use to unmount. He had a terrible gash on the back of his calf. My purpose of this review is not to put them out of business. It’s to warn fun-seekers to be careful and the owners of this establishment to fix their equipment as well as training their people better. Showing visual diagrams of the proper form would help since the operator’s English is not very good.
