Good for kids
as a Zoologist, this Animal sanctuary is not acceptable for the animals on it. it houses a lot of Philippine endemic animals particularly the deers yet it is poorly maintained and the cages are not even suitable anymore

Unfortunately the situation of the animals is not acceptable. In cages rather small or as for the deers no grass and no water. I hope that somebody will complain about that. Animals deserve respect please. I went again there because I wanted to see the "Botanical Garden" of Dumaguete. After many queries I found it's the zoo! I visited it again. I felt even more ashamed for the animals to live in such bad conditions. For the prestigious Silliman university is a great shame not to invest a little money on making the zoo a true home for the creatures of God! At a time the University is making ecology an issue and the protection of endangered species a must it's time to go from words to acts...
Nice guy that worked there and told about the animals care, the govt and Siliman Univ needs to help with investing for their care
Nice zoo
Nice place but could do with more animals
Silliman should invest more time and money. It just need more care
Quite a good collection despite the logistical challenges
Several spotted deers that you can touch, couple of hogs and some very cute flying foxes. 10pesos per entrance. If the fence is closed, just try opening it. The ticket office is 50m inside
