Bistro Remedios is my go to place for Filipino food, whether with friends or with foreign visitors. While the singing trio might seem touristy, the food is definitely not: it is authentic, very local, and very good. Highly recommend for everyone who wants good sampling of the best that Filipino food has to offer!

Great food at this local place with lots of character. The bamboo rice should be ordered to go with anything you eat. Leave space for dessert, and ube ice cream is delightful. It's purple from the blue potatoes. Delightful lunches and dinners!

This is a chain restaurant not a local restaurant. I found the food here is highly over rated, I came here with a friend upon a recommendation. We ordered 3 dishes. - bamboo rice ok but should be noted it is very salty - the vegetable below includes goat.. descent to try but definitely should have avoided as caused some digestive issues Overall it's fine if you want a chain restaurant but not ideal if your seeking a real local restaurant experience

It truly adheres to its slogan as (one of) The best in Filipino cuisine. We ordered \kinilaw na tanigue\ (type of Filipino fish ceviche) & \sinugbang manok\ (chicken barbecue), and both really tasted delicious. The kinilaw comes with an achara (pickled green papaya) that is neither too sour nor too sweet, but blends perfectly. Also, this place is cozy with multiple rooms for private dinning. It has singing staff who serenades the diner upon request. The prices here are reasonable. Staff are courteous. Locals & foreigners alike are common diners here, considering the restaurant's location right at the heart of Malate District. I would recommend this place & look forward to our next visit.

Everything is good here. Dont miss their Caldereta, baby squid, gambas, and crispy pata. For private dining, you can request for a function room. Great resto to bring balikbayans or foreign guests. Service is fast and they suggest how much to order depending on food portions. Can’t wait to be back here.
