If you are going to this MRT station, I suggest using the Alphaland Southgate Mall where there are escalators reaching up to the 3rd floor connecting bridge of the station. Much more convenient and less hassles!

It's not the best public transpo the country can provide but it can bring you to places without enduring the traffic at EDSA. If going north bound from Magallanes station, take the fourth lane from the platform entrance. It's usually spacious inside the train coming from that spot.
