I would like to thank DHL team for fast and safe delivering of my package in the Philippines. There was some hiccups along the way, but all together it was a smooth transaction. Even though raised my voice, the people that I talked to are calm and compose. These is my first time sending parcel using DHL. Would do it again next time. Mr. Christian and Ms. Veronica helped me a lot. Thank you.
They were asking me to pay php5600 charges at first for 1 PIECE of jewelry that is not even brand bew. Of course I complained about the charges but eventually agreed to pay since as per representative, that is required to secure clearance from BOC. Guess what,? Instead of reducing the charges they added 4000 for the excise tax so I emailed the one in-charge and made constant follow up thru their hotline but got no response. I ended up visiting their HO and paid the php10,300 to be able to claim the item. Sana po mabusog ng mga unjust charges ang mga pamilya nyo.
Not planning to even give a star if I can do so as this is the worst experience I had with DHL by far and is going to be the first and last time using it. Shipped a parcel of premium skincare products that probably add up to quite alot from my suppliers to php family usage but they request like a license from me and huge amount of tax to be paid to them and this whole issue just keep bouncing forward and backwards till the receiver is fed up and we concluded to send it back to singapore instead and I have been chasing for 2 mths without getting a reply. Called today again and I was told that my parcel has been dumped to the abandoned dept due to no news from my side for 30 days and asked me to get a law letter from the lawyer office in order to retrieve it from the abandoned dept. Excuse me? Is your unprofessional employees who does not reply to any of the emails that led to this. And the operator claimed that the person in charge was on leave therefore there wasn't any reply. Come on, on leave for 2 mths? Sure but at least do an auto reply email that I can look for an alternative and plus every of the emails have cced 5 depts. Are all 5 depts on leave for 2 mths as well? RIDICULOUS.

Are you staying in the Philippines and planning using this DHL service in the Philippines??? Then plz forget it. This courier service company doesn't deliver your important items on time ever. Your will be the one who keep chasing changed time and their schedule cause they never update you ever. The website show you expected date though, forget about it. They never get it on that day. Their promised date or day never works for you. Plz, the courier service company is not operating for proper delivery service, what it can be expected for?????
