The place is designed to give a centain vintage vibe. The quality of service is Great! I recommend getting one of their craft beer (katipunan) while you're waiting or having your service, fits the chill vibe of the place perfectly.

Have you ever experienced you’re already home, taken a shower, looked at your self several times in the mirror and realized that you have indeed gotten a bad haircut? Well, that’s exactly what I felt after a haircut at Talas-Cubao yesterday afternoon. I should have known it would go wrong from the absence of rapport with the barber assigned to me. I specified how I want my haircut to be done. I even showed sample photos from my phone yet execution was poor. I said I want my hair layered and expected that my hair would be clipped and cut in sections. Yet his style is otherwise, instead used razor & hair thinning scissors. I don’t think i’ll ever come back nor recommend anyone to try this branch. I hardly felt the massage. No before or after shampoo. No receipt either.

Bad experience. My friend and i had a bad experience. The cashier and barber were rude, we tried to speak with them politely but they were straight up rude. The ambiance of the place is nice but the service was awful

Rude staff. Lazy. If you want a bad haircut come to this salon. Interiors look nice but service is BAD.

Service not worth for the price of 300. Rushing the haircut, I end up having to go back to trim the side which still has protruding hair that was only covered with thick pomade. It didn't end there as after taking a bath, I still need to re-trim the same side again for the uneven hair that started to show up after the pomade was washed away!

There are Bisaya barbers who are entitled even if their service is not excellent. They always expect a tip from their customers in every haircut they’ve done and they will mock customers who won’t give through Bisaya words. Gladly that I can understand them. Plus they complain a lot and won’t ask their customers an option as to their type of haircut. Not worth the price!

Very few places can cut my hair the way I want it. Talas Manileño is one of them. I consider them the best. Try Randy!

March 6, 2019: For a 300peso service, the haircut and wash (Tasa) was hurried and not entirely satisfactory. My girlfriend showed a photo online of what was supposed to be the haircut and the barber basically examined it for about less than 5 seconds. Knowing that the reviews of this place is good, I trusted that at least 70/80% of my idea for the hair would be delivered. It turned out way way far from it. The barber was constantly looking at the clock, asked the receptionist what time was the next customer scheduled, and proceeded cutting my hair in an unfocused fashion without regards to cut that my gf and I wanted. I'm definitely not coming back. Total disrespect to a new customer. The location's vibe and the interior design is a consolation though.
