Gorgeous, overlooked waterfall. If you don't like tourist spots, avoid the more popular waterfalls in the surrounding and find this pristine place. From McArthur highway, take a right to Lettac and keep following the road inland. There may be times that you think you are not gonna reach, because it is quite deep inland. Locals will point you in the right direction. Park next the the entrance (see main image) and follow the road down to the river. Take a right and track the river for 300m. There you go! Walk is easy if you are in a decent condition.

Nothing amazing about this falls. If you have been to several falls both within the different provinces and outside the Philippines, you will never ever appreciate this. The water looks dirty but definitely it is not. It's just that the rocks are mossy plus there are little itchy and wriggling worms that will stick to your skin when you are in the water. Nothing fancy. The hike is like 20 minutes going down and possibility of getting lost if you do not have a guide. No one to ask in the area when you reach that river heading to the falls. River trekking is a must and can be very dangerous especially during wet season. The water in the river can have a strong current and can reach waist deep after a storm/rainfall. The hike going down is too steep and slippery. The terrible travel that you have to endure is not worth it. Travel by bus going to Baloan (around 40 pesos per person but we think that the conductor overpriced us). alight at the popular Church where it has a plaza with a wet/dry market and has trikes that will bring you to the town of Santol (color yellow with pink roof). Php 20 per head but if you will rent the trike for the entire 10KM ride to Santol proper is Php 100. At Santol proper, you will have to ride a tricycle again (estimated 6.5 KM) amounting to 100 pesos per head going to the jump off point of Balay Anito Falls. You can tell the driver to wait for you and you better because this is like a secluded area wherein tricycle is not much to see. You have the option to ride a motorcycle but can be very dangerous because the ride is so much uphill and continuously steep. Not worth the travel. Do not wear slippers here. Better wear sandals or thick aqua shoes. You will encounter lots of stones along the way. Super steep hike up. Lot of red ants on the trail.

We were lucky it rained the night before. The waterfall looked amazing with the abundant flow of water that greeted us as we approached its basin.
