So I have reached the haven of the hopia pilgrimage in the Philippines! Everyone who knows how hopia should taste claim that this is where the best tasting delicacy is made. And I can say that the claims are solid and true! The hopia mongo was freshly made (still hot!) and was very creamy and wrapped in delicate pastry. The hopia with salted egg is another story! Don’t think that this is something like the traditional mooncake because it is not. And to authenticate the existence of these delicious treats, they come wrapped in thin paper, the way hopia is traditionally wrapped. I will not mind trudging the busy, hot and bustling streets of Palanca in Quiapo just to get these goodies!

Good-tasting assortment of \hopia\ from one of the oldest existing hopia factories.
Best hopia in the philippines yes it is many hopia store in binondo but not as good as kim chong tin is the best hopia and most all staffs and the owner is very accomodating and kind
The best Hopia in Manila.
Good hopia place but not the best. Come here for history and just a taste, but if you're looking for the best tasting? There are plenty in binondo area.
A Blast from the Past Scene was twenty two years after it's kick-off in 1927. Captured by Kodachrome in 1949 a few years after the liberation of Manila. Hopya' like it!
My favorite hopia place. I prefer the hopia here than the other more popular brands.
Brought home the hopia. Toasted it and it was excellent. Tastes really good.
