The airport still needs a lot of improvement, tbh. There are negative feedbacks from time to time, but it doesn't mean that the management is not doing anything to address the concerns in the airport. I understand that there are limitations due to budget restrictions especially during these trying times, but in spite of that, we're still looking forward to the future of aviation. Here in Kalibo International Airport, We take you skywards.

Paying extra money to the porters let’s you pass the normal passenger security lane. that’s really a shame. You also pay 700 pesos (nearly 15) as airport fee. Normally such fees are included in your ticket price. But not on the Philippines!! Here you pay always something like environment fee, terminal fee, harbour fee, airport fee. Salami tactics. Every of these lanes are different and it is unrecognizable which lane goes to where. So being early at this airports is a big plus to keep control of your stress level. The one star goes to the friendly immigration officer and the helpful guy at the x-ray.

Not only the worst airport I’ve ever been, but also the most greedy airport stuffs ever. There is a 700 P you need to pay before the customs (which is ridiculous already), I gave the lady 400 Philippine Pismo as I don’t have enough local currency and asked her can I paid rest fee by other currency. She said yes, and told me I still need to pay 15 USD which is roughly 780 piso...good job Philippine

Landed here from MNL and of you're planning the same you must prapare the requirements for travellers and must fill up a health declaration form prior flying to avoid delay. Staffs checking your documents and you must state the name of driver and plate number of car that will pick you up in the airport.

You won't be allowed inside until 2 hours before your flight. No coordination between airlines and airport regarding terminal fee. Few food stalls inside. I suggest eating at the restaurants outside, whete food is more affordable. Clean. Tons of seats at second floor. Restroom at second floor is closed, the one at the ground floor is clean. rainbowjournal

Cozy tiny airport. Everything manually done here. Friendly bunch of airport staff. Reasonable 700 peso airport fee for basic comfort. Could be better by having a.proper praying area for passengers waiting to board flight. It's typically a van or bus that transports passengers to Caticlan Jetty. That is quite a bumpy ride.

An old airport that badly needs rehabilitation (while Boracay is closed). There are no jet bridges so be ready to get soak with sunshine or rain. The big question considering the number of passengers it caters: why the airport wasn't developed? Iloilo and Bacolod airports are very good airports, way better than Kalibo.
