As far as i know, here in Metro Manila, I wouldn't deny the fact that JP Hernandez, the guy behind this business makes the best djembe and ashiko. If you are looking for a nice sounding djembe, look for him. Just try to negotiate well.

Homey shop. You'll never regret going to him for help. He also makes ethnic percussion instruments such as rain sticks and shekere.
