Nice and romantic experinece. I ve never seen so many fireflies making this night show for our eyes. Food is nice as well.

This place itself has definitely closed down permanently due to the crocodiles in the river. if you would like to go and see the fireflies you have to go to a place called Kitu-KiTo D'Makarios Firefly Watching Place which is a completely different location you will be able to find it on google maps. You can either rent a car for 1300 pesos per day from Kim car rental or You can take a tricycle for 600 pesos to get there and pay 300 pesos per person no need to waste money and you don’t need to book in advance just arrive at 6:15 as the orientation starts at 6:30 and your starts at 7:00pm

They have done a very good job in conservation and preservation of the nature, no motorized boat, many fireflies, healthy mangroves, plenty of plankton in the river, fresh air and clear sky, we can even do star gazing. Amazing, highly recommended. The boatman also very knowledgeable, the boats and life jackets were all well maintained and in a very good condition.

Would be a great experience if not for the full moon that struck the evening we visited, so better check your calendars for moon forecasts. According to our tour guide, the best time to visit is between 7:00 to 10:00PM. The place begins operation/arrangements at around 6:30PM.

Amazing. Must see . Try going on a no moon night. If you’re lucky you might even see bio luminous life in the water.

One of the only worthwhile night time activities near Puerto princesa.it was definitely entertaining and relaxing and we did get to see some fireflies and the bushes on either side of the river. Our tour guide also educated us about the galaxy and the various stars within it. I knocked off one star because the line to get a boat was somewhat unorganized and lengthy.

I enjoyed the stars in the sky rather than the fireflies. If you do not have enough time, you can skip it.
