Good for kids
Migratory birds regularly fly in and fly out of this area almost every day of the year. Thanks to the mangrove trees that serve as their resting area! It’s incredible that you get to see them ingress and egress by “batches” and they have particular “time slots” of arrival and departure, too! The observation deck overlooks the Magat Dam and Ramon, Isabela from afar. Be sure to check them out!

Bird watching at the Magat Wetland Eco-Tourism Park located at sitio Minanga , Santo Domingo Alfonso Lista Ifugao. It is 20 kms from Santiago City.It has a nice cemented road and you dont need to hike. The white Philippine Egret, thousands of them take shelter during the night on the trees at the marshes which you can watch them come from different places starting 5 pm and watch them depart from that place at 5 am. During day time, there are plenty of wild ducks and species of birds and eagles.
A place where birds take refuge for the night. So you need to be there dawn or dusk to be able to witness the birds.
Awesome place. A must-visit.
