Very small museum. Interesting things to see about Ifugao Culture, attire, handicraft, etc. Good to visit. High steps/stairs to reach the entrance to the museum, then another stairs to the lower level.

The entrance fee is 50php. Tourist are not allowed to take pictures inside.
We came here because when we arrived we could not see the rice terraces because of the fog. While we were going through the museum and took a group picture towards the end of our time here, the fog lifted! It was amazing.
During weekend it is not open for 7am, you need to advise and approach the caretaker of the museum that you wanted to check the museum. Some of the locals mention that usually it is open during the peak seasons.
Excellent view to Banaue rice terraces. Finally found authentic Sungka for my daughter!! She loves it!
The Banaue Museum houses a collection of artifacts that come from generations of Ifugaos who have lived in Banaue. Most of the artifacts in the collection belong to Henry Otley Beyer, an American anthropologist who is known as the Father of Philippine Anthropology. The museum contains some of the oldest artifacts related to the tribes of Northern Luzon, like spears, necklaces, and old wood carvings. The museum consists of two floors. The first floor houses artifacts that are associated with the Ifugao, Kalinga, and the Bontoc tribes.
Small museum but worth a visit for more history of the area.
