The Gensan airport is a work in progress. It is undergoing a major renovation to improve its facilities and amenities. It indeed has a potential to be another regional hub. With the ongoing construction, the place is a bit topsy turvy. Until it is done shall I rate it again. Good thing to note now is the availability of carts that are free of charge.

I understand that you are renovating. BUT PLEASE clean the benches. You could write your names on them already. They only get cleaned whenever a traveller sits on them. You're suppose to be disinfecting your facility very often especially during this pandemic.

It’s been several years already, but the renovation is not yet finished. This supposedly international airport lacks food or water inside. Personnel upon arrival are also discourteous. How can the city live up to its name, Magandang Gensan when upon arrival, you’re greeted with this mess? Make it fast Gensan airport!

Not the best time to make a review of Gensan Airport because of its current state, but I just felt the need to do one. Some sort of a wake up call. Improvement has been pending for some years now and it's very disappointing. I have traveled recently and it is very inconvenient to go to and from this airport. Even going to the boarding area is a hassle. The toilets are dirty and smelly. The new improvements on the arrival area looks cheap and ugly. I just hope that once finished, the improvements are nice if not beautiful to arrive to.
