Not bad at all considering the location. We really enjoyed our food. Service could be better but that's the theme almost everywhere here. A little tricky to find and parking a car on this general area is challenging. We'll be back on our next trip. Enjoy the great view and the Ocean view!

Real good Greek food! Ordered their Souvlaki mixed platter, Chicken Kebab, that tomato based pasta that was so good. Supposedly a good view but there was just too much people by the beach.
We had a hard time looking for this place. It's easier to come here from the beach if you're staying in one of the nearby resorts. We were staying in Kahuna and we decided to have our lunch here. The service here is good and fast, the servers are attentive and the owner was accommodating and friendly. The place is really screaming mediterranean because of the decor. Even the music blasting from the radio was mediterranean. Some of the waitresses were wearing costumes too: little white dress with gladiator slippers which I find tacky. Unfortunately we didn't like the food, maybe because we're not used to meditarrenean food? It lacked the taste that a hungry traveler was craving for. It was a bit pricey too. But I recommend their banana yogurt shake, my daughter and my husband loved it so much.
Good place to go for surfing, food is nice, and trip was totally awesome!
Gefseis is a bit hard to get to / find, but worth it for the food. We had the Lamb Souvlaki wrap, the Moussaka, Kanelonia Beef, Pork Ribs, and an order of the tzatziki dip (we ended up with two of those by the end). Everything seemed reasonably priced and portioned. Mine was the souvlaki, and it was quite good, but it was 10x better with the tzatziki sauce on it. I'm not sure why they don't have gyros here, but that was as close as I could get. The Moussaka and Kanelonia had kind of the same "spaghetti sauce" thing going on and were good but not awesome. Both also benefited from the tzatziki. The Pork Ribs I just had one bite of but holy hell was it awesomely well cooked and seasoned. I'd get that (or try the pork souvlaki) next time I went. The tzatziki dip was FANTASTIC, though it seemed to have some shredded onion in it (maybe?) it didn't suffer for it. I think it was 120p for another roughly two tablespoons of it without pita. I think they should put a dollop of it on every dish ordered for free, really. Every item was better with it on there. The "home brewed iced tea" you can skip. It's not tea by any stretch of the word. Smoking just at the front of the house, so that was easy and nice. Whole place is "outdoors" under a roof, so no aircon or anything. Go in the evening for the sunset over the ocean view. Service was attentive and good. -1 star for not having gyros (the vertical broiler kind with mixed meats... that's what I was really hoping for) and for charging 2.50 for two tablespoons of delicious tzatziki sauce.
Beautiful location down on San Juan surfing beach, difficult to find though. We used Google maps and still made a wrong turn, no parking there so we parked on the shoulder of the highway. Food was OK bit nothing special, the place was empty which for me is strange for a Sunday at lunch time. Staff were OK and friendly and dressed in Greek robes.
Good food and great ambiance! If you want a taste of authentic Greek food, this is a must visit for you! We had their meat kebab platter. The meat was really tasty and really flavorful. You can really taste the spices used. Their bread was soft and filling too.
Greek themed, non-smoking resto. They got friendly staff dressed in greek myth inspired costumes. Food is 4 out 5. Price is average, not too pricey but not too cheap either. Ambience is 4 out of 5. They gave us free dessert (lemon cake) after one of us had the misfortune of chewing something hard with her rice and chipped her front teeth.
