We had a really bad experience hiring a car in Europecar in the Philippines(Europcar Airport). We had a reservation 2 months before we pick up the car. But when we arrived there and check the car there are lots of damage/scratches around the car and all tires are bald. We have to argued with the stuff and at the end they change our car after 2 hours arguing and checking everything.

Beware of this company. Staff are great but not at all impressed with restrictions that are not disclosed till after I paid my money....that is no roro ( ferries) and no mountains. Im still waiting for my deposit to come back on my credit card and it's going on 2 months. I suspect I won't ever see it again, and they certainly have list me as a client
I’ve rented cars in US, CA, IT, AU, MX and this is the best car rental experience I’ve had. Someone picked us up once we called the number at the counter within minutes (we were there at 5am and made reservation for 6am), the van was ready to go in front of the office (which was less than 5 minute drive from Terminal 1). They did not push extra insurance on us. When we dropped off it only took a few minutes and they drove the rental to the terminal so we didn’t even need to switch bags to another vehicle to get there. The airport doesn’t indicate where rental lots are so look it up in Waze to make it easier to drop off. There are gas stations everywhere so filling up beforehand isn’t hard (as someone else noted). We filled up 15km away and there were still more en route.
First of all, it’s a bit distant from the airport, and there’s no gas station nearby, so you’ll be charged extra pricy gas fee. Staffs are nice, but they seem to take advantage of tourists by claiming unmarked damage, which definitely seem to exist from the beginning because their cars are all dented and scratched that it is nearly impossible to take all notes upon receiving the car. Not recommended.
Easy to deal with. They even provide shuttle service depending on which terminal you arrive at.

Staff were very helpull but a Europcar sign on the office would have helped and also a clear sign on the road \hire car return\ would also help
