ENERDICE Bioenergy is an innovator of and project developer with German engineered clean technologies for renewable energies. In focus are the production of clean fuels such as biomethane and biodiesel, as well as biofertilizer. ENERDICE owns unique proprietary technology, the FUEL DICE, that distinctly differentiates from competition – a unique and versatile micro-biodiesel refinery, which does all production steps from ‘seed-to-fuel’ on industrial scale within one small device. ENERDICE has virtually no competition in its target market, that of relocatable biodiesel refineries. The intellectual property owned and developed by ENERDICE has initially been patented. The FUEL DICE provides one solution to the problems that developing countries have, such as, job creation, energy independence, and sustainable secondary income from the use and sale of processed (energy) products. The FUEL DICE can be deployed in any area within a country accessible by road, creating sustainable value generation at the beginning of the value chain, and not only at the end. This innovation is the product of joint efforts of industry leading parties under ENERDICE’s lead. The 20 ft container sized and fully automated machine incorporates all biodiesel production steps in one device: A continuous process from oil expelling, raw vegetable oil purification, raw biodiesel production through trans-esterification and following dry washing up to a high quality bio diesel according to EN B100 / EN 14.214. The end product – biodiesel – will either be sold at attractive margins to blending facilities, used to operate any diesel engine, or to power local grids by converting to electric power, clean and environmentally friendly biodiesel instead of burning fossil fuels. The field operation has proven that the technical performance of the FUEL DICE meets and exceeds expectations.
