From the moment I met the visa officer until the moment I got my Visa it felt like he truly understood the predicament that I was in. initially I was told that my visa would be issued 2 hours after my plane had already left for Yangon. After showing him my flight he assured me that it would get done. And sure enough after only 24 hours of processing I got a call saying that the Visa was complete and ready for pickup. I cannot say enough about how well the staff treated me.

after two weeks of waiting and constant visiting at 9 in the morning, the immigration officer has not called nor given me his contact to inform me about my visa application, i've sent all the requirements and with certification/recommendation from the US Embassy. I have only recieved promises and no actual solutions for any of my inquiries.
