Staff do a good job but the premises and facilities are poor

Depends on when you visit, some times it's really busy and the wait is long but other times you are in and out
The ladies there do a good job and are very helpful within the limits of their office. I never had a problem there. I may not agree with some rules and procedures, but I am a guest and will respect. Of one goes to the BoI prepared with all papers in order, there is no problem .
Hello Does anyone know how much a 9-10 month overstay is? I've arrived November 14-December 14th 2019 "Free 30 Days" I tried to email and call the immigration for pricing but they are not responding, only through FB messenger and sometimes email. I've been here in Ginatilan since the lockdown March. I've overstayed due to my fiancee being pregnant and wanted to support her and be here for her until October when our baby is due
Always a pleasant experience going there. The staff are calm and professional at all times and will happily answer any questions. Never had any issues with extending my visa here in Dumaguete.
Ahhhh Immigration... If you've ever spent more than a month in Dauin or Dumaguete, you will visit this office. The staff who work here can be very nice if you're nice, or very mean if you're mean. Please, Foreigners, be nice!!! Being mean will get you nothing but bad service, and no one wants to hear your sob story. I cannot tell you how many times over the last 2 years in Dumaguete that I have seen nasty, disgusting old white man making a scene in this tiny small (thankfully air conditioned) office. The rules are simple to follow, so follow them. As the slogan goes, being here in the Philippines is not a right, its a privilege, so stop expecting Filipinos to bend over backwards when you intentionally ignored your visa renewal. Tough to rate this place because if they make a mistake, they will do nothing about it It's not intentional, they are very honest workers, but twice over the years I paid for a multi-month extension and was only given a one month extension on accident, and when I explained this, they would do nothing about it except give me the difference and make me buy a second visa extension, forcing me to come back again. They are also often out of visa stickers, meaning you need to carry around the letter from them, and parking sucks because people will get mad at you if you park in front of their shops (10php fixes this). With all that said, its the best immigration office I've been to across the Philippines, so I'm still giving it 4 stars. WAAAAY better than Cebu.
Only processing 30 people a day (working full day 5 am to 6 pm on tax payers money) tell you come early tomorrow (not saying come at 430am to sign up on a list) when you arrive at 630 am there's already a list of 100 people. They need am appointment system and paid for the time they actually work
A good place to extend your tourist visit. Cost was 3130 pesos for the express service in Feb 2019. It does take 24hrs minimin or 7 days on the normal service. No queue either time I visited in the morning. The security guard will give you a number and the form to fill in. Remember to keep your calm with the immigration staff. (Not all tourists seem to)
