Dr. Malony Santos has a shameful attitude towards patient care. I was informed on the phone that tooth extraction would cost approximately 3,500 pesos. However, once I arrived today (08/17/2020), he had other ideas. After examination, he said this would usually cost 25,000 pesos (I even said, surely you mean 2,500 pesos? That is SIX times more expensive than the UK!). To make this farce even more absurd, Dr. Santos was not even sure if it was the top or bottom third molar that needed removing. Hence he repeatedly asked me which tooth I wanted removing, excuse me, you are supposed to be the dentist? Dr. Santos then said he could extract it for 10,000 pesos (now twice as much as the UK), I said this is still too expensive for tooth extraction. He then said if it takes less than 30 minutes, he would do it for 5,000 pesos, but if it takes longer then the price will be 10,000 pesos. In a few minutes, we have gone from 25,000 pesos to potentially 5,000 pesos! As the conversation went on, Dr. Santos became more aggressive and impatient because I wasn’t going to accept being ripped off. Dr. Santos has no qualms about lying to your face to inflate the price and he clearly possesses no conscious whatsoever, he is driven only by greed and taking advantage. What kind of so-called ‘professional’ price gouges and lies to a patient in pain on the dental chair? What kind of ‘professional’ dramatically changes the price every few seconds and clearly isn’t even confident in his own ability as a dentist? Everything about my experience with Dr. Santos was awful. The clinic lied about the price before I arrived and they continually lied to my face when I sat in the chair in an attempt to rip me off during a pandemic. Avoid their price gouging and aggressive behavior like the plague.

Went to MOA branch for a cleaning and tooth filling. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but didn't bother to tell me who will be doing the procedure. Even the dentist didn't even introduce himself. Cleaning was rushed and the tooth filling he did on my third molar (upper jaw) chipped off. Tried calling their MOA clinic to report what happened, but their staff won't answer at all. Instead, I went to another dentist in BGC and was told that the filling wasn't done properly to seal the hole, that's why it came loose and chipped easily. Dental World Manila charges exorbitant prices for a below average service! #neveragain

My kid got scared before the extraction because the doctor was asking so loud where are the needles and prepared it in front of her! of course the kid was scared, not even friendly to kid no introduction or whatsoever so we did not continue and the worst part is they still charge us! Expect that I will spread the news.. It only shows that they don't care to their patients! No star sana e!
