Nice to take a walk to the bottom of the mountain and then climb the stairs up. It’s supposed to be 721 steps and although it sounds like a lot, one should be able to make it with a few stops in between. The view along the way is very motivating to push you to go forward.

Nice circular walk. I approached from the north BUT... where the footpath begins they have made a quarry. So you have to climb up the back wall of the quarry to get to the path. I'm 60yo and managed it, but in some places on all fours. Actually the nicest part of the walk is from the north up to the top. Once clear of the quarry the path is very clear.

Its beautiful spot to visit. Passing clouds, surrounding hills and sea.. Ya.. Simply I loved it.. For natural lovers, its good to visit.. On the top, there is just a cross and cell phone towers, nothing else... But the view of surrounding is amazing...

If you are in Coron then Climbing the 700 plus steps to Mt. Tapyas is worth it, if you feel up to it. The beautiful view and photo opportunities are great. It took myself and my friend a little less than 30 minutes to climb the steps.

Hard to get up to the top, but you forget it once you see the view from there. Keep in mind there are no lights so if you go to see the sunset just make sure you have some sort of flashlight on you.
