I wasn’t expecting a lot from it, and I think you should do the same. It’s actually very well done. There is an elevated path made out of bamboo that takes you through part of the mangrove and along the way there are a few stops where you can look around and read about the mangrove. You can also buy food to feed the fishes from one of the stop. Entry fee is 50 pesos. They also give hats for free to protect from the sun. You can leave personal items at the desk too for free. Very useful I case you’re riding a moped and want to leave your helmet somewhere.

One of ' a must visit' attraction in bantayan island. Tour around the mangroves and fish feeding are the activities you can do in the area. There's also a restaurant that offers silog meals. Morning is the best time to visit the place.

This place is very cool and worth the hike. Great for pictures and it's really pretty. Lots of wild life and we were there in low tide. Climb the bamboo tower at the snack area. They have straw sombreros to wear. If you don't have a hat use one. The sun feels like its 3 meters from your head. It's 50 pesos per person so 1 USD. Well worth it.

The trail around the mangrove forest would've been relaxing and therapeutic if there were few visitors. When we went there, there were many visitors. So we had to stop when they take pictures of the signs. Likewise we had to wait for quite a while before taking some photos as well. Since it had a small trail, you need to keep on moving so no congestion can take place. We were always on the move and had to take pictures quickly. We can move at our own pace too but felt that it would affect the flow of visitors. The staff there lets you borrow a brimmed hat so you have at least a bit of shield from the sun. You can actually walk on your pace with no time limit, and there were also some resting stops. Instagrammable spots can be found there too.

The bamboo bridges were sturdy and the place is IG worthy. It was where they shot the movie "Camp Sawi." Don't forget to take a picture from the bamboo tower, the scenery is worth it.

It was a little too hot that day we went but staff offered hat rental free of charge. The entrance fee was 50 pesos per person. The mangrove is located around 20 min outside of Santa Fe and can be reached by tricycle. Ask your driver to wait for you so you can get back since there are not many around. The facilities are kept clean and the water in the mangroves is clear so that you can see lots of fish.

A must to visit when in Bantayan Island in the Phililpines. A good example of how fishers with government agencies work together to protect mangrove forest. Part of the tour is an orientation about mangroves. Let us support this effort. Entrance fee is almost insignificant compared to their efforts on protection and management.
