Wow! Amazing! Fantastic! Wonderful! The Sublime Dao Falls of Samboan. I was mesmerized when I had the glimpse of the waterfalls. The water plunges peacefully through the pool from a ravine. The pool is shallow and calm. You will have to trek by about 20 minutes to get there. But you will be rewarded of these wonderful view. Dao is a variety of straight tree, by the way. Enjoy Cebu's rich natural attractions! Love Philippines! #itsmorefuninthephilippines

By far my favorite of all the waterfalls we visited in Cebu! The water and crevices were out worldly. As if we were on another planet. And the hike was fun yet adventurous, it’s not as commercialized as other falls in the area so less regulations. Be mindful of your step and just be smart. My brother slipped when jumping and without regulated helmets it was a heart attack moment for sure. But all good
Definitely now one of my favorite waterfalls in the enitre province of Cebu even the entire Philippines. Light blue, crystal and enchantinf waters. A must see in South Cebu.
It's a pretty little walk and fall but no 'levels' and no good jumps. You have to take a guide (local law) but it's probably worth it for the advice on slippery parts. You can pay as you wish. If you want adventure go to another local falls.
Very nice place and worth to visit.. just keep in mind to be careful, since there areas that are somewhat slippery.. always be mindful and listen to your guide.
Well worth the drive and hike, oh, and the registration and guide fee. There is a signage from the main road by a petrol station that signals the access road to the EcoAdventure Park center and it is only a short drive up along a concrete but narrow road with a gentle incline mostly consisting of rolling hills. Upon arrival, there is adequate parking space for about 5-10 vehicles and there is a well maintained center where you are able to register and avail of the services of a local guide (required), as well make use of the toilet and changing rooms. After which, 100 steps of concrete steps lead down to a 15-20 minutes, 2/9 difficulty, hike along a little tricky and mostly wet trail where you will at times be submerged up to the waist. I recommend not putting any valuables (more so electronics) in your pockets and wearing foot wear and clothes ready to be soaked in water. The trail covers basic terrain, river crossings and little cliffs that are now barricaded by bamboo barriers for your leverage and safety. Eventually, you will reach the falls which consists of a big pool, with a maximum depth of 7ft, where the waterfall lands and a secondary mini-infinity pool, great for photo shoots. These are all accessible by a very slippery rock formation, but concrete rubble are placed for easier footholds. The place does not accommodate a lot of people though so it's best enjoyed with a group of few people and even fewer "other" people. :D All in all, a very good and worthwhile experience! Be extra careful on the way back and on the way down.
It is an experience to remember. Dau is a canyon which we can walk. Hope it will be allowed to green some more. It is a sacred mountain with inhabitants we must respect.
This location requires effort to go up to with a hike, luckily the locals have th ed re bikes which they drive you up the newly paved path and then you begin your journey from there. There's a free for the locals who maintain and you can't go here without a local from what I've seen. Get use to tourist price and local price. Not too much difference when converted back to NZD. Amazing views here however make sure to buy water and snacks before heading on this adventure. Locals are really friendly and they maintain the waterfalls so the fee is justified.
