Cebu Memorial Park or CEMPARK is one of the premier cemeteries at the heart of Cebu City. It is very close to the Cebu IT Park and to many posh subdivisions in Cebu. It gets pretty crowded during All Saint’s Day Weekend but it is still more organized than other cemeteries. On regular days, it serves like a big park in the city where people can do jogging for example.

This was where we buried a good friend of ours. Golden hour here is very beautiful when the weather is good. People can also jog here early morning or late afternoon. Its a peaceful place. Not scary at all.
The place is very big and wide. There are a lot of trees and the area is clean all the time. The place is quiet and solemn with lots of flowers and the water faucets are everywhere. I love spending my free time there. It is a place where you can have peace of mind. And they also have several restrooms.

It's peaceful, quiet and clean.
My grandmother was buried here in 1986. I can say that this cemetery is well maintained and kept. It prides for having the graves of prominent Cebuano people and families to be buried here. This is open to the public. Typical scene you will see is a bunch of joggers running around.
I love this place but there are just times that the grasses are so tall or the lot where your love one is buried a year after doesn't still have a grass on. Management should try to put a patch on those so it still looks like a garden. Also the trash in the area is not being pick up to think there are how many maintenance on the grounds.
