Another fun and enjoyable way to do here in Bohol is ridding on the ATV to go around the foot of the hills.
We got a two seat ATV that would not turn left. Many times on our ride around a muddy track through the trees, we almost hit trees and rocks. Upon returning after 16 minutes (we paid for 30 minutes), I asked for a refund since the ATV was dangerous and we didn't get the time we paid for. The lady said no to the refund. I explained that that vehicle is dangerous and if they rent it to less experienced drivers, someone may get hurt. She just shrugged it of as though she didn't care. As I left, I showed her that i kept the key to protect others. It didn't even register with her. So if you ignore this warning, don't accept the red ATV with no key. It won't turn left and you can't turn it off to save yourself.
This the worst atv rental ever. NO MAINTENANCE AT ALL. I was with my 4 years old son. First of all the seats of the buggy was soaking wet. Safety belts were not working. Breakes; only the left front wheel had a break and then i noticed during the trip that the throttle didt com back when it was full. Full speed barely breakes and no safety belt with my 4 year old son, so i start to stress big time. The guide couldnt stop me so had to bump on purpose in the bushes to the trees to stop. The wheels were still pushing us forward. I threw out my son and jumped myself. My son off course scared and crying. I went mad to the receeption to get my money back and they say. Sorry sir no refund, you better check the vehicle before you pay next time
I would give this 4 or 5 stars if they had vehicles that worked. In total my ATV broke down 4 times. No apology, no compensation. They charge 900/hr so they definitely have enough money to have reliable ATVs. Apart from that the tour was awesome and they took lots of photos and videos for free.
Very nice tour guides and expert in taking photographs
Pay an extortionate rate to drive around a muddy featureless field nowhere near the chocolate hills while your guide forces you to stop every 2 minutes to take exactly the same mundane photos as the 10,000 tourists that came before you. Highly recommended.
