Overall this is a really beautiful church. It's where I went to church for most of my life after all!! It's just that during weddings even if we paid the right price for hosting thus, they never really turned on the chandeliers or the angels' lights which would have made the ceremony better, brighter, and much more memorable. This just really disappoints me though.

The beauty of arts & architecture!
I love visiting old churches. Its like travelling back to the past.
As a Heritage City of Cebu, Carcar contains various Spanish and American period structures. The Carcar plaza alone hosts several heritage structures, the Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria dominates the area. Within the complex various structures stand, including quaint houses and their distinctive architectural details. Surrounding the Rotunda and in the public market one will find the famous Carcar chicharon, lechon, ampao, bucarillo, gorgorias and puso – just some of the local delicacies.
A must visit in the heritage town of Carcar. It is a Byzantine style church with unique twin bell towers shaped like minarets.
A personally memorable church for me. The architecture alone is worth the visit.
Clean surroundings restrooms are clean very quite only the people who sells candles are present inside the church very solemn like going back in history antique woods statues of angels, our Mother, Jesus, old chairs, old paintings.
