Accommodating staff and everyone communicates well. They are very proactive in maintaining my bikes and they are able to find the parts that I need. The team also replies quickly. The mechanics are very experienced and they generously share their knowledge to help me maintain my bikes

Went to Built Cycles in Poblacion to have a bike wash and tuneup and thought everything was fine... The next morning while biking to BGC, I noticed my chainring kept sliding. Luckily I met with a couple of bike friends and they noticed my hubs might be damaged. Fortunately, we were able to go to a bike shop in Taguig where they found out I had to replace my hubs and do another tuneup which I didn't mind as long as my bike got fix. What I couldn't understand was what was the mechanics at Built Cycles doing? If they are certified, genuine bike mechanics, then why wasn't the mechanic able to spot this and point this out to me when I had my bike tuned up? A few months ago, I also had a mini velo that needed the same tuneup and the mechanic at Built Cycles said they couldn't fix the gearing problem (at least mechanic was honest enough). Went over to TryOn in J. P. Rizal and the mechanic there was able to fix it in a jiff. The only reason this didn't get a 1 star rating was they did do a good job with the bike clean and the shop was air-conditioned. IF however you need to get your bikes fixed, I suggest TRYON or Grand Trails in Circuit Makati. You won't be disappointed.

I wouldn't trust the new bike I bought from them with my children or for myself. After they assembled it, I placed it in the car not having biked it down Kalayaan first. The moment I got to my village though, the pedals wouldn't turn. It seemed to be stuck. I brought it back the next day, and the older mechanic who had assembled it got it fixed but couldn't tell me what he did ti fix it. To be honest, he mumbled a lot and could care less if I understood how to use the gear shifts. Two days later my bike again broke with the same problem. I had to push it back towards the house. I intended to bring this out on a trip. This thing will leave me stranded on a highway. To keep it short, there are a number of problems (squeaks, gears shifting by themselves) which leaves me wondering why in the world I didn't just get a second hand bike or buy elsewhere. I only use the bike inside an enclosed village 45 minutes a day and it has barely even been one month since I bought it. There are a lot of stores feeling the strain of the pandemic. Other stores may be more deserving of others. I feel bad I chose poorly. I am however making this 2 stars because so far, they have accommodated my requests for them to look it over without charging me but I don't like having to go out to risk infection just because the new bike I bought acts like it's already 5 years old. Payment Terms: 1) Warranty for defective parts - 7 days 2) Warranty for services to replace parts - 1 month *bikes have been around for a long time, I don't know if this is the industry standard, but I'm pretty sure I can't think of a product that I own which doesn't have had at least 6 months - 1 year warranty.

My go-to bike shop even before they changed locations. Friendly staff, quality parts, and good mechanics. Had my bike overhauled for upgrades and they found a way to make everything fit well. Thanks as always, Built!

Very accomodating staff Competent mechanic Wide selection of components Cozy waiting lounge Good coffee! Tip: - there's no harm in asking for discount. They'd give if they could (for some components). - try riding your bike before leaving if you had it tuned.
