A rather battered place since the storm last September 2016 with the doppler radar literally blown over. But is an interesting place to check out weather equipment. Nice vantage point for an awesome view of most of Batan island.

Have a glimpse of breathtaking Batanes facing the Radar Station which was unfortunately toppled down by typhoon Ferdie.
Visit this place to get some of the best views in Batanes. :)
This weather station was destroyed by the storm in 2016. It's a good vantage point to see the whole island.
Nothing much. I guess the view speaks for itself. The PAGASA station isn't open for public so we were just outside enjoying the view.
I was passing here all the time during the stay nearby, and every time it gave amazing views. I'm not sure about 'worth visiting' but since it's on the way to Fundacion Pacita, better to climb up for a while. Since it's located high up, sunset and sunrise can be seen too.
The very expensive Doppler radar, one of only a handful in the whole country, has been totalled by Typhoon Ferdie. I hope the PAGASA replaces it, it's a very useful tool for storm detection, weather forecasts, and (incidentally) for military surveillance.
Good place to know a little about how they forecast weather with the equipments you can find here. However they are all pretty much outdated
