Not much artifacts to qualify as a museum. But the retired teachers who maintains this place are all great. One of them is Lola Maria, she was 19 when the Bataan battle happened. She explains the history and all her experiences passionately, kids love hearing her stories. Great place to stopover when in Bataan.
This museum holds precious and memorable moments during the war. I learned a lot about Philippines thanks to this museum. They collect donations to keep this open. No photography allowed :( Add this place to your list to see :)
You will meet survivors of the Bataan Death March who give a great educational tour. This is the exact site where the Americans surrendered Bataan to the Japanese. And the Japanese torture room is still standing. There is a school built around the museum, so visit on a weekday.
A private owned musuem, curated by volunteers conposed of retired professionals who love Bataan History
Good place and a lot of info to know but it will be better to have more staff and historical things to show...
The culture of Bataan is very rich and history is very much alive here and I learned a lot about some details of WW2. Kudos Mr. Magat for doing this project.
Wonderful exhibit with knowledgeable curators. It's amazing that there is so much living history! And people with stories are impactful. Top notch
