Advised to get here promptly with dengue fever. very disappointed with the upkeep and cleanliness. The ward and toilet were disgusting and the mattresses well below standard. Care was thorough which I felt was bill motivated. A@E felt in safe hands. Considering the cost very poor standards. Go to Maria Aurora memorial hospital if you are worried about cost, care standards good.

The nurses and the doctors here are very accomodating and friendly they respond to you and your question really well the equipment are very well maintained although they are lacking in some equipment but for emergency they can handle this is not a big hospital but for a town as little as baler i guess this is enough for them i guess this is the hospital to bring when some emergency or accident on the beach of baler

One of the worse hospitals I’ve been to. My friend got injured from surfing, it was an emergency so she was brought there immediately. They didn’t do ANYTHING - No meds, no pain-killers, no checking of vital signs/blood pressure, etc. The reason? They didn’t have money YET (since it was an emergency, they weren’t able to get their wallets from the hotel yet) Not to mention, they didn’t want to actually call Intellicare. Per their “SOP”, they only send text messages and have to wait for 3 hrs. (this is the average turnaround time per their staff). So the patient had to call Intellicare herself!! Unacceptable! People are bad-mannered as well. The “gay doctor” (sorry, nothing against gay people, but had to specify this one doctor for everyone’s reference) and the other staff were very “irritated”-looking and were very much NOT accomodating. Crazy service! If I can give Zero or Negative Star rating, I will do so!!!
