I was wondering when i heard "balagbag" falls then when i reached there i figured out why. Why??? It's simple because you can see how the name made. Literally the formation are not straight in tagalog word normally use in Quezon province. I suggest to climb and you can see another space on top for picture taking but you better watch out for hairy worm scattered everywhere. If you're scared that much like i do then just jump! The fastest way to go down and feel free not to see another worms. There are two waterfalls close to each other that you can find in Real Quezon and Balagbag Falls is one. Entrance fee is Php 30. The waterfall is two-tiered and is a short walk from the start of the trail. The bottom level is 5 meters high with deep natural pool good for cliff jumping while the top level is 25 meters high with shallow catch basin. Water is clean and cold. The rainy season is over, so the falls had medium water flowing over. It’s a short walk from the Parking lot and you can see two levels of falls. You can also climb to the top of the first Falls. Apparently there is a third drop, but it is out of sight. The students and I all swam in the pool at the bottom - which was cool and refreshing. If you are in the area, go for a look and a swim. They are busy cementing the pathway to the falls and are also building toilet/change rooms. This will be a helpful improvement. It was just an easy walk from the parking..about five minutes on foot. We paid P40 for parking and P40@ for entrance. It was well worth it. Since it was raining a few days before we arrived ..water was abundant. There was a couple when we got there. It was great timing because we almost had this beautiful creation to ourselves. I was able to go up the second tier. I just hope the barangay is strict in implementing rules on trash. People just need to be concious of this basic rule..There were some when we went...how much more when there are more visitors there.
